My December Underwater

Quick recap this month since I only did 1 dive. It was brutally cold and windy this month and I’m also anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new camera gear, so I wasn’t super inspired to brave the weather.
December 18 - Folly Cove (Gloucester, Massachusetts)
Gear configuration: Olympus TG-5
We’ve had a long run of cold weather, but finally got a break with air temperatures in the 40s and bright sunshine. With no waves in sight, we submerged to incredible visibility and headed out the right side. We spotted a bunch of Palio dubia, several Placida dendritica on sea fleece, and one lone Coryphella verrucosa in the rocks. As we were on our way in, the sun was shining in the shallow water so we both paused for some wide angle. I was quite chilly at the end, but this was a very pleasant dive.
